NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the study of our mental patterns. It allows us to understand the mental processes we use to encode information, and therefore, our way of thinking and acting.
This means that throughout our lives, we have installed hundreds of programs, even before we were born. At the beginning of our lives, these programs were installed by our parents, grandparents, and relatives; later, by our teachers, friends, and the media. We accept these programs without realizing whether they benefit or harm us. They are simply there. We also have programs that we have installed ourselves, and likewise, some are beneficial and others not so much.
NLP is the study of what we perceive through our senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch), how we organize the world as we perceive it, and how we review and filter the external world through our senses.
Furthermore, NLP investigates the processes by which we transmit our representation of the world through language. It is therefore a practical application that allows us, through precise techniques and tools, to recognize and develop skills for personal growth and improved interpersonal relationships. But above all, it allows us to objectively understand how others perceive us and how we perceive ourselves.
In fact, it allows us to understand how other people perceive us, both those we are with and ourselves. It complements the development of emotional intelligence, including NLP.
