What is Distance Reiki?
Distance Reiki is a Japanese technique that allows you to send healing energy to people anywhere in the world. We can also send this healing energy to events in the present, past, and future.
Who can practice Distance Reiki?
Any therapist who has completed the Second Degree of Reiki is qualified to practice Distance Reiki, as this degree grants the therapist the three Reiki master symbols, one of which is called the «Distance Symbol or Light Symbol.»
How is Distance Reiki Performed?
Distance Reiki encompasses different techniques, where the therapist, using the Distance Symbol and their hands, chooses the method to send healing energy. These methods include: using a photograph for the healing, a stuffed animal to represent the person receiving Reiki, or imagining holding the person in your hands and sending them Reiki.
Reiki works from the outside in, addressing disturbances in the subtle energy and movement bodies of the physical body over a period of four days. Reiki restores order and balance to the body’s energy. It calms the mind and stabilizes emotions. Reiki is a healing energy and should not be confused with spiritual healing. Reiki energy naturally seeks out imbalances in your energy body and works to restore balance and harmony to your energetic landscape.
The distance treatment is scheduled at your convenience, at a time when you can relax for approximately 50 minutes, while the Reiki therapist sends you Reiki energy. This means turning off your phone, mobile device, etc. These 50-minute sessions should be done on four consecutive days.
The video conference sessions will last approximately 50 minutes. Technical difficulties will not affect the actual session time.
