Reiki is beneficial for many illnesses and emotional states:

  • Chronic Pain: Relieves pain from arthritis, rheumatism, osteoarthritis, back and lower back pain, menstrual cramps, migraines, headaches, etc.
  • Injuries: Accelerates the healing process and helps bone fractures heal. Reduces inflammation in sprains, heals torn muscles, etc.
  • Infections: Helps the body increase its ability to fight viral diseases by strengthening the immune system. Also beneficial for ear infections, gastroenteritis, skin infections, etc.
  • Cancer: Has been used successfully in combination with chemotherapy to help the body maintain the physical strength necessary for treatment. It can make small lumps and skin cancer disappear.

Depression, Aggression, and Other Mental Illnesses:

Reiki helps to balance people energetically and spiritually. As a result, mental illnesses can disappear when a person is in a state of balance and happiness. More than treating specific illnesses, Reiki achieves complete balance through Universal Energy.

  • Physical: Aches, injuries, fractures, metabolism, excess weight, infections, etc.
  • Mental: Harmful habits, stress, insomnia, specific goals, etc.
  • Spiritual: Harmony, peace and balance, feeling “closer to God,” etc.
  • Emotional: Relationship problems, aggression, unhappiness, etc.

For the believer, no explanation is necessary; for the non-believer, any explanation is superfluous.

What issues to consider before practicing Reiki

Reiki has no contraindications or side effects; however, it’s important to remember to always use it as a complement to or alternative therapy alongside other treatments. Some Reiki practitioners consider it contraindicated that it should not be performed during surgery or before bone fractures have been properly set by an orthopedic surgeon.

It is also recommended that the patient be fully conscious during the therapy, and therefore should abstain from the use of drugs, alcohol, and medications that interfere with sleep.
